Jessica Kendall | The most meaningful path is not always a straight line. After a decade in the business world, Jessica felt a nagging sensation that something was missing. The passion she developed as a Human Resources professional, corporate Trainer and entrepreneur has been transformed and redirected. As she began to live out her faith, she was called to share with others this powerful message: true contentment and joy come from living a life of integrity. Once you discover your divine purpose, fulfillment comes as you make incremental steps toward who you were created to be. Put the past behind you and take a bold step forward. As Director of The Zone, Jessica enjoys opportunities to encourage others through Christian Life Coaching, small group studies and public speaking. Jessica lives in Franklin, Wisconsin with her loving husband and two energetic and creative children. |
Jim Thelen | Jim Thelen is associate pastor at Hales Corners Lutheran Church and Founder of The Zone. He has witnessed the power of coaching as he cares for church members seeking direction and Pastoral leaders that he coaches through the Transforming Churches Network. Wayne Rasmussen | Wayne is in his 47th year in ministry. During that time he has coached basketball, baseball, golf, and football as well as serving as Athletics Director. He was ordained into the Pastoral Minstry in 1990 and and is presently serving as Associate Pastor at Hales Corners Lutheran Church. "The original use of a coach was to take a person from one place to another. Good coaching with people does the same thing -- it enables a person to go from one dimension of their life into a better one. Coaching differs from mentoring in that the person coached arrives at their own goals and solutions; the coach's job is to equip the person coached with the tools they need to accomplish their purposes." |
Paul Minzlaff | Paul is passionate about coaching individuals to experience their full potential. As an accomplished health care executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in faith based hospital organizations, Paul has achieved life balance and outstanding operational results. Paul has coached basketball teams for the past 13 years where he has honed his "performance techniques." These include mentual visualization and cenversations for possibility. Also a practicing artist (glass sculpture), motivational writer and inventor, Paul is blessed with a wife of 33 years and two wonderful daughters. |
Peg Schacht | Peg compares her life to the jar of flour and jug of oil in the biblical story of the Widow at Zarephath (1Kings 17:14). Though used daily to sustain the widow, her son and those the Lord placed in her care, the containers remained full until the Lord decided to stop the flow. “The depth and variety of my life experiences are expansive and my passion to experience life to its fullest and help others to do the same is overflowing!” Peg has been on staff at Hales Corners Lutheran Church for 14 years. The last 5 have been spent fulfilling a passion for worship by leading a team of pastors, colleagues and volunteers in planning weekly worship at HCLC. She also serves as Dir. of Worship Arts, Multimedia and Prayer Ministries. Her latest venture into uncharted “life experiences” earned her a Minister of Religion degree from Concordia University, Mequon. Peg is thrilled to stay in the Lord’s “flow” through current training as a Christian Life Coach. Peg has been married (to the same guy!) for 38 years and they’ve been blessed with a birth daughter and adopted son from Thailand. |
